Where It Began
Shdowarth® was born from listening.
Listening to women frustrated by paying more for extended sizing.
Listening to those tired of limited color options.
Listening to women who felt they had to hide, adjust, or “make do.”
Our founder grew up watching her mother alter nearly every dress she owned —
hemming, reshaping, reworking — just to feel comfortable at weddings and formal events.
One evening, she asked a simple question:
“Why are women doing the extra work? Why aren’t the dresses?”
That question became the foundation of Shdowarth®.
